Our Fees

At Spring Therapy, we are committed to providing transparent and easily understandable information regarding our fees and how different funding options can support your occupational therapy journey. We want to make accessing services straightforward, allowing you to focus on your child or young adult's progress.

Our Rate

Our current hourly rate is $193.99/hr

This aligns with the current NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits 2025-26 for Occupational Therapy services.

You can find more information about this on the NDIS website here: https://www.ndis.gov.au/providers/pricing-arrangements

Funding Options & Payment Methods

Spring Therapy supports a range of funding options to make our services accessible.

1. National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

We support NDIS participants with Self-Managed and Plan-Managed funding.

  • Self-Managed NDIS Plans: If you self-manage your NDIS plan, we will provide you with a detailed invoice via email following each session or block of services. You are then responsible for submitting this invoice to the NDIS portal for reimbursement.

  • Plan-Managed NDIS Plans: If your NDIS plan is managed by a Plan Manager, we will directly invoice your nominated Plan Manager for all services provided. Please ensure you provide us with your Plan Manager's full details (including their name, email, phone, and relevant NDIS plan details) at the time of booking so we can set this up efficiently.

  • Please Note: At this time, Spring Therapy is unable to directly bill NDIA-Managed (Agency Managed) plans.

2. Medicare Rebates

Eligible clients may be able to claim a rebate for occupational therapy services through Medicare under a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) Plan (formerly Enhanced Primary Care or EPC plan). This plan allows for a rebate on up to 5 allied health sessions per calendar year.

  • How to Access: You will need a referral from your General Practitioner (GP) for a CDM Plan. Your GP will assess your child's (or young adult's) eligibility based on their specific needs.

  • The Medicare Rebate: Medicare currently provides a rebate of $61.80 per session. https://www9.health.gov.au/mbs/fullDisplay.cfm?type=item&q=10958&qt=item

  • Understanding the Gap Fee: As our fees are higher than the Medicare rebate, there will be an out-of-pocket 'gap fee' for each session.

  • Payment & Claiming: Full payment for your session is required at the time of your appointment. We will then provide you with an invoice that includes all necessary details for you to claim your rebate directly from Medicare.

3. Private Fees

Clients can also choose to access our occupational therapy services privately, without NDIS funding or a Medicare referral.

  • Private Health Insurance: Please check directly with your private health insurer regarding your eligibility for rebates for occupational therapy services, as coverage varies widely depending on your policy. We can provide you with a receipt to submit to your insurer.

Service Agreements

To ensure transparency a personalised Service Agreement will be provided and discussed with you before commencing therapy with us. This agreement will clearly outline the specific services we will provide, our fee structure, and our cancellation policy. This ensures everyone is on the same page.
