About Us

Spring Therapy offers compassionate, person-centred Occupational Therapy using a holistic and strengths-based approach to empower individuals to bloom, grow, and transform at their own pace.

Hi my name is Emma Pavia, Owner and Occupational Therapist of Spring Therapy!

I'm an Adelaide local deeply passionate about helping people thrive in their everyday life.

My journey to becoming an OT wasn't a straight line, but every step has shaped how I practice today.

After completing a Bachelor of Nutrition and Food Science at the University of South Australia, I quickly realised something was missing. My heart wasn't truly in it, but I knew my passion was about helping people in a deep, meaningful way.

My curiosity then led me to complete a Graduate Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). This is where the spark truly ignited! I became fascinated by the powerful connection between the brain and the body and how our thoughts, feelings and environments all impact our daily function. This holistic approach is what finally showed me my true calling: Occupational Therapy.

I proudly completed my Masters in Occupational Therapy at Flinders University, and I've never looked back. My practice is built on the belief that support should be holistic and genuinely client-centred.

I’ve had the privilege of supporting clients with a diverse range of neurotypes and diagnoses across many settings: from homes, childcare, kindergarten and schools to clinics and other community environments. I understand that effective support needs to be practical and fit seamlessly into your everyday life.

I find a real, genuine joy in meeting new clients, learning from them, and watching them build their potential and experience things that felt so out of reach. My role is to walk alongside you as we work together to build the skills and confidence needed for meaningful participation in your daily life.

The name Spring Therapy was inspired by the seasons of growth and change. Just as spring represents new beginnings and transformation, Spring Therapy was created with the vision to support clients to bloom, thrive, grow and transform in their own time and in their own way. I strive to create a safe, supportive and empowering space where individuals and families feel understood and celebrated for who they are.

Outside of work, my hands are full raising my beautiful one-year-old daughter with my partner, Michael, and spending quality time with family, friends and our dog Nala.

Having returned to work from maternity leave I bring a renewed appreciation and deeper insight into the journey of parenthood.
